Good editorial, even though I had to use the Remove Paywall site to read it (I refuse to subscribe to the Enquirer). And I agree with you, although you might be surprised to learn I actually voted for Liz Keating. I thought she did a good job when she was on council before. She also got along well with the Democratic majority. I suspect if she decided to change parties she'd get a closer look from voters next time.
Not a surprise! I heard nice things about her previous work, but I come at the GOP with perhaps a non-local litmus test. Especially when, as I wrote, the party has abandoned federalism and is overreaching into state and local matters more intrusively than any recent administration has. If they want my vote they have to explain how they're different, and if they don't, my assumption is they're not courageous enough to step up. One candidate did write about how Trump sunk Republicans like him, and he gets it now.
I had opened that up earlier this morning but hadn't read it yet. My BizJournal subscription via the CHPL is one of the best perks of the card!

Also, did you see this article in the Cincy Business Courier about Pleasant Ridge? I'm one of many people who've been involved in this work. https://www.bizjournals.com/cincinnati/news/2025/12/11/pleasant-ridge-neighborhood-plan-new-developments.html

I want to see a pic of you sitting on the bench behind Rockwell's frame!
Your wish is my command. Check your texts!
