Sebastian Coffeehouse Opens
And it's pretty delicious!
For Mount Washingtonians, the rehab of the old “Ice House” next to the Creamy Whip has been a heartening sight to see. A somewhat run down building got new life, thanks to the work of the Mount Washington Community Development Corporation.
The question, though given the space it could only be so many things, was who will take a chance on Mount Washington?
The answer came in the form of the Sebastian Bakehouse, which turned it into a coffeehouse location.
I guess you could call them soft openings, but there were some things to iron out in late May before the coffeehouse opened today for permanent business.
We stopped by this morning expecting a crazy line. We got a moderate line (thankfully) and got some iced coffee, cappuccino, amazing croissants (including pain au chocolat, or PACs as they call ‘em), and a chocolate cookie you might have dreams about.
Go make sure you give them support. You won’t regret it.
