Jim, this isn't Cincinnati specific, but Ohio- I just learned this morning that the Bureau of Land Management is preparing to auction off 2840 of Ohio's only National Forest for oil fracking and drilling. I can't say with certainty that the Cincinnati Enquirer did not cover this, because quite honestly it's been a while since I've read it cover to cover. But I consume a lot of other news sources and I'm shocked that I'm only learning about this. The period for protest ends on August 17th. Please help spread the word.

More info:

"The Trump administration wants to sell 2,840 acres of Ohio’s only national forest for oil and gas drilling.

The Bureau of Land Management announced it will auction off land in Wayne National Forest for fracking, despite the protected forest being home to multiple endangered species.

A month ago, this would've been illegal. But Trump just gutted the Endangered Species Act—clearing the way for Big Oil to take over Wayne National Forest."
